This new decoration on Grafton Street provides the perfect romantic photo-op
GRAFTON STREET AT Christmas might not seem terribly romantic on the surface. After all, what’s romantic about trying to navigate your way through hordes of stressed out Christmas shoppers?
But a new decoration outside Weir & Sons Jewellers on Grafton Street might just provide the most romantic photo op.
You guessed it – it’s a giant mistletoe decoration
Hanging on Wicklow Street and Grafton Street for all the Christmas shoppers to pass under.
And it’s kind of a beaut.
A welcome addition to the street.
Sure, it might be cheesy and sappy, but isn’t that what Christmas is all about?
Plus, who knows? Maybe you’ll get the shift
Picture the scene: you awkwardly bump into a stranger underneath it and your Christmas shopping goes flying everywhere. The stranger apologises profusely and helps you gather all your belongings.
When you stand up, you both realise you’re standing underneath the mistletoe.
“Well, this is awkward,” you say, giggling. But before you know it, you’re shifting ferociously as Savage Garden’s Truly Madly Deeply plays nearby.
